Thursday - CSS Review
By this point, you have had experience:
- loading background images;
- setting background colors for individual selectors;
- adjusting padding, borders, and margins;
- defining fonts for individual selectors;
- floating and clearing elements;
- clearing underlines and dots from navigation lists;
- changing navigation lists between horizontal and vertical orientations;
- and setting conditional formatting based on mouse behavior (pseudo-class styling);
It is my expectation that you will be able to perform each of these tasks on weekly coding challenges. That doesn't mean you need to have each method memorized, but it does mean that when you search W3Schools you will be able to understand the instructions posted there and use them to achieve your coding goals for the day.
If any of the above steps are still a struggle for you, consider spending time with me after school on Tuesdays or Thursdays. This course is cumulative and falling behind early on has long-term consequences. Don't let it happen to you!
