Monday - The Open Source Movement
The Open Source movement is roughly as old as computing - about 70 years or so. Consider this timeline of Open Source to get a sense for how it progressed over time.
This movement gave us the Internet, it gave us Linux (which powers most servers around the world and is the basis for Android OS as well as the systems running on nearly all smart devices), and it includes software like Atom, VS Code, Gimp, and Inkscape - all of which are part of the curriculum here in one form or another.
