Day 02 - Cornell Notes
You have learned how to take Cornell notes in biology class with Mrs. Smith, and here I'm going to show you a twist on Cornell notes: Google doc Cornell notes. Google docs is a tool that you are likely to rely upon later in life (especially if you go to college after high school), and Cornell notes are the smartest way to take notes. So you should know how to combine these two things to maximize your bang for buck once you start having to pay for each hour you spend in class.
We're going to take our notes from Day 01 of this unit and convert them into Cornell notes by creating a table in Google docs and filling it in appropriately. Google docs makes it easy for you to add highlighter colors or to change text formatting to make specific details pop out and match up, fully leveraging the graphic organizer element of Cornell notes.
