Day 14 - Evaluate Second Prototype
You should have 10 trials of data - consisting of throw distances, measured in centimeters, with 5 trials per prototype - and it is time to evaluate the performance of your design improvements. Did the second prototype perform better than the first prototype? Why or why not? You can use discussion of mechanical advantage, potential vs. kinetic energy, and the limitation of the 30 popsicle sticks to explain your data. This explanation goes into your EDP report.
If you do not have 10 trials of data, you are running out of time. We are wrapping this unit up and will spend next week reviewing the major concepts and then taking a test.
