Unit 11 - Mapping: Using Google Earth

Google Earth is a commonly-used mapping tool that has a lot of features to make your life better if you know how to use them. This unit is not going to make you a power user of Google Earth, but it will familiarize you with some of the basic techniques that justify using Google Earth over other mapping applications.

We're going to use the tutorials provided by Google directly, and we'll start with the tutorial called Annotating Google Earth. Go ahead and click on that link and we'll work through this lesson. Make sure the other people on your team are making progress along with you; do not let them fall behind!
