Unit 05 - Electromagnetism

This unit is student-driven, which means the concepts are the same from year to year but the structure of the projects (and, hence, the day-to-day Web pages supporting this unit) will change each time the class is taught. The structure of the unit is provided by Challenge-Based Learning, a pedagogic model that starts with the content students are required to learn and ends with the students deciding the path they will take to learn that content, all in the context of developing local solutions to global problems.

This unit, electromagnetism, focuses on Ohm's Law and the various ways in which electrons interact with magnetic fields. Along the way, students will choose a challenge that relies on electromagnetism to develop local solutions.
