Day 02 - Guiding Questions

Yesterday we talked about our Big Idea - access to electricity - and then we developed a number of essential questions. Essential questions are those whose answers require us to develop a local solution to a global problem. In our case, we settled on developing a portable electricity generator.

Today we're going to have to come up with a list of guiding questions. Whereas essential questions took us from the Big Idea to our Challenge, guiding questions will take us from our Challenge to our Solution. What do we need to know in order to develop a portable electricity generator? You will work in teams to come up with questions that we will then put together for the whole class to use.
