U.01 Vector Graphics

Unit 01 - Vector Graphics

Vector graphics are a way of using computers to draw shapes that never pixellate. That means you can zoom in as close as you'd like and each curve will remain perfectly smooth. Most fonts are rendered this way, but jpegs - the compressed images you see online all the time - are not. If you zoom in on them, curves start looking jagged, as if they were made out of squares and rectangles bunched together.
