Day 03 - Build a Balloon Car

Yesterday you should have tested your brainstormed model and now you should have a solid sense for what works in the design and what doesn't. Formalize your design by drawing up a design for your car. Submit a team sketch to obtain your next set of materials. The sketch may be either isometric or orthographic; whichever you find easier to do is fine by me. Graph paper is available in the back where the tools have been laid out.

Once you have a drawing of which I approve, take a photo of it and upload that image to your team EDP. Then get to building your first formal prototype.

acceleration
the rate at which an object's speed changes
compression
squeezing an object to reduce the space it occupies
intuit
to know something without prior study
Newton's laws of motion
they remind us that objects need force to change direction or velocity, and that every force in the universe is opposed by its equal; also, F=ma, or force equals mass times acceleration
pneumatics
any technology using air pressure to do work
