Intermolecular forces (IMF) play a significant role in melting points, as you should recall from your chemistry class. Use this knowledge to continue your analysis of the lotion you produced. Determine answers to the following questions:

• What is the role of IMF? (i.e., how do they affect melting points?)
• What does an emulsifying agent do?
• What kind of substance is your moisturizer prototype? (be sure to include all evidence you have supporting your claim!)
