Day 09 - Foam Core Skill Refresher
Using scrap foam core, practice cutting 45° beveled edges so that you can assemble walls without overlapping the seams. Also practice cutting precise lines using a straightedge and repeated, light cuts across the same line until you get through the paper exterior. Remember that you are cutting through the foam board, not pushing through it; use light pressure and repeat cuts to achieve your goal without yielding control over the path of the blade. If you find that this technique stops working, it is time to replace the blade itself.
