Day 16 - Paint Your House

I have acrylic paints and foam brushes here in the classroom you may use to paint your houses. If you wish to supplement with your own paints, that is fine, though spray paint is not permitted. Keep in mind that it is better to apply 2 or 3 thin coats than 1 heavy coat. A heavy coat of paint tends to bleed onto other surfaces and the end result looks more like melted candle wax than a painted wall. I recommend painting the interior of your house before painting the exterior. And don't forget to paint your roof!

As with all other things, you are obligated to clean up after yourself, to include taking brushes to a sink to wash out ALL of the paint. That means you need to stop painting with at least 10 minutes left at the end of the bell. Set the brushes on a table to air-dry.
